Mike started his insurance career at Commonwealth Life Insurance Company. In 1991, he began working at Reed Brothers Insurance, a small main street agency in his home town with revenues of around $400,000. In 1996, he became a partner and opened his second main street shop in a neighboring town. Mike started a niche marketing business selling commercial insurance to dealers in RV, used auto, powersports and manufactured housing. The revenues for his agency exceeded $4 million in 2008. That same year, Mike sold the niche marketing book of business with revenues of $2.4 million and joined Brown & Brown as President of Brown & Brown of Kentucky. Today, he continues to lead all of Brown & Brown of KY and is also President of Brown & Brown Dealer Services, a division within Brown & Brown devoted to auto and RV dealer training and F&I products. Profit centers operating under the BBDS umbrella include Automotive Development Group, F&I Resources, Dealer Associates, United Development Systems, MBA Insurance – an RV rental insurance office, and Vehicle Administrative Services – a roadside assistance and ancillary product provider.
Shawn Moran started his career in 2002 as a Business Manager at an Automotive Dealership in Upstate NY. In 2003, Shawn went on to become a successful Finance Director for a large RV & Marine Dealership with multiple locations. In November of 2008, Shawn made the decision to open his own agency, F&I Consulting Unlimited, where he quickly became known for his work ethic and knowledge of the RV Industry. In July of 2013, Brown & Brown purchased Shawn’s agency, creating in a short time the largest RV Master General Agency in the country today. Shawn covers the Nation providing personalized Finance training to all levels of Business Managers in the Recreation Industry. He conducts numerous weekly training sessions consisting of both small and large groups. Shawn also holds his Personal & Commercial Lines Insurance License, to better serve his dealers. He enjoys working with various dealerships helping them maximize their growth potential through Training, Finance products, and Point of Sale Insurance. Outside of his career, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife Ashlyn, and their four children, Layla (19), Zach (17) & Emma (15) and Mady (14). Shawn is also an avid NY Yankees fan, and enjoys boating & camping. Shawn resides in Troutman, NC
Ashlyn served as a Finance & Insurance Manager, Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and General Manager in Powersports and RV dealerships for ten and a half years. This experience provided her a strong knowledge of the recreation industry. She began her Powersports career in sales at Powersports and Marine dealership in 2005, where she quickly advanced to Finance & Insurance Manager. In 2010, Ashlyn decided to expand her career goals and moved on to a large RV and Marine group where her success as a finance and insurance director grew sales exponentially. Ashlyn’s passion for helping customers has transitioned to the dealer base of Brown & Brown. She takes pride in seeking Brown & Brown’s dealer clients exceeding at their craft and producing record profits. Ashlyn began her career with Brown & Brown Insurance as a Corporate Finance and Insurance Trainer for the RV Industry. Her talents in the F&I sector quickly led to her being placed in F&I talent development in the RV sector for Brown & Brown of KY. Outside of her career, she enjoys spending time with her husband Shawn and their four children, Layla (19), Zach (17), Emma (15) & Mady (14).She enjoys gardening, decorating and spending time with her horses, chickens and 2 dogs. Ashlyn resides in Troutman, NC.
In 2008, Suzie began her career in the RV Industry at a large RV Dealership located in Upstate NY. She was hired to be the Executive Assistant to the dealer principal but also took on numerous other roles within the dealership such as Floorplan, HR, Accounting, Finance and Sales. In 2012, Suzie made the decision to leave the RV Dealership, and join her former colleague, Shawn Moran, at F&I Consulting Unlimited. Shawn hired Suzie to work in his office to assist with their dealerships needs, while he traveled the country servicing their current dealerships with personalized training sessions. Suzie was the main point of contact for all of their dealerships and was ready to assist with their questions, contract corrections, claims, remittances, supplies, and anything else that was needed. In July 2013, Suzie joined Shawn when Brown & Brown purchased his agency. Suzie has grown with the company and still serves as a single point of contact for all of our RV dealerships needs. In her spare time, Suzie enjoys shopping and home decorating, but most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband Aaron, and their three sons: Evan (8), Lucas (6) and Cameron (2). Suzie and her family reside in Albany, NY.
Janet Scavo has over 20 years in the RV Industry. Janet started her career in 1998 as a marketing assistant for a small independent auto agent. After a few short months, she quickly advanced as an Outside Sales Associate in the RV, Powersport and Marine industries.
In 2010 Janet built and designed a private label extended service program for the agency. She continues to market the Preserve Extended Protection plan plus the many BBDS portfolio of A+ programs. Janet understands and meets her customer’s needs. She works along side Business Manager’s with inhouse and webinar trainings. She is a reinsurance specialist with over 10 years of experience in supporting and protecting her clients’ investments. Janet is a certified member of AFIP – the Association of Finance & Insurance professionals and a licensed P&C agent. The RV Industry is a lifelong career that she continues to enjoy. Janet lives in Cincinnati where she raised two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, teaching Yoga and Meditation as a Holistic Health Educator, and enjoys tending to her backyard beehives.
Linne’ started his career in 1993 in the car business in Atlanta, GA after graduating college. In 2002 he went to work for Assurant Solutions Dealer Services and enjoyed the growth and training. He moved to the Pensacola, FL area in 2008. In 2009 he went to work for Agency Management Corp. based in Brandon, FL. In 2014, Brown & Brown acquired AMC and Linne has enjoyed the growth, training opportunities, and the horsepower to help dealers exceed their profit expectations. Linne’ has been married for nearly 25 years to his wife Michelle. Their son is currently working on his Master’s Degree, while their Daughter is in her second year of Dental School. Linne’ enjoys playing Golf, Hunting and Fishing with his wife. “Live for today…We’re not guaranteed Tomorrow”.
Tim began his insurance career in 1989 with a 6-year stint at Capitol Holdings selling life products, then moved to Prudential expanding to selling securities. In 1998, Tim joined Reed Brothers Insurance in Columbia, Kentucky as an agent/producer specializing in commercial coverages for a variety of main street businesses and over time began focusing on recreational vehicle and powersports dealerships throughout the U.S. In 2008, Tim joined Brown & Brown Insurance when Reed Brothers was acquired by the company. Tim’s sales background and combined knowledge of insurance products, vehicle service products, and dealership operations have led to a successful career and now serve him and Brown & Brown as a team leader and mentor to producers and agents. Tim and Sherri, his wife of 37 years, live in Bowling Green, KY. He has a daughter and two grandchildren, Kemma and Elsie, who keep him busy on the weekends. Tim is an avid golfer and also enjoys playing pickleball.
Gary Boyd is an experienced & proven sales professional with more than 25 years of retail experience. His auto career began in 1993 after graduating from Baylor University with a BBA in Finance and Accounting. From the start, Gary quickly learned the importance of processes and its impact on financial results. His second dealership gave him the opportunity to become a nationally ranked top performer in F&I. In 1999, Gary was the Regional Finance Director over Texas for a public auto group. In 2009, he became the General Sales Manager over the Southern part of the US (TX, OK, LA, TN & GA) for another public company. In 2015, Gary joined DAI, a F&I Wealth and Development company in Arlington Texas. In 2018, DAI was purchased by Brown & Brown. Gary is currently the Director of Training & Development for the Texas BBDS office as well as actively works with current and prospective clients throughout the US. Gary’s approach to the Sales and F&I process focuses on understanding and adapting to today’s consumer trends. His groups’ growing list of clients continue to achieve industry leading financial results. Outside of work Gary enjoys traveling with friends and family. He and Nina, his wife of 27 years, have 2 daughters, Emily (22) and Elizabeth (24). Gary is an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
Jon was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2005 with a Business and Economics Degree. After graduation, he spent 10 years working at Forge Inc, a family owned and operated business. In 2016, Jon made a career change and joined Brown & Brown Dealer Services, specializing in Commercial Insurance, F&I Products, Dealer Training and Business Income Development for RV and Powersports Dealerships. Jon and his wife Janine have been married for 10 years and currently live in Lexington, KY along with their 3 year-old daughter, Sofia. Jon enjoys spending time with friends and family and is an avid golfer in his spare time.
Michael is an experienced Executive Manager with a 20-year demonstrated history of working in the automotive industry. Strong sales professional skilled in Negotiation, Customer Service, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing Strategies. He provides automotive F&I products and works with dealer partners on income development while adding property & casualty insurance, employee benefits, and personal line agencies placed directly into dealerships.

Matt has worked for single point Dealerships as well as Dealer Groups and understands the needs for a boutique approach that BBDS can offer our clients. Matt’s focus is income development, compliance and while offering a full spectrum of products to our dealers. He is extremely excited to be part of the team and wants to work hard for his dealers to increase profitability and protecting their assets.

Shannon Raddigan has worked in the RV industry for the past nine years; she began her career in the sales department of Coach-Net which gave her the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge of the industry. During that time, Shannon frequently demonstrated an agile approach towards the needs of the business and her clients, consistently delivering a high performance which gained her several promotions and lead to her securing the role of National Director of Sales & Training.
Shannon’s passion and dedication to the RV industry enabled her to develop multiple dealer training programs in her pervious role. Her training programs have been highly successful in supporting the needs of RV dealers, and the reason why she has become a trusted resource for many. In 2019, Shannon's progressive influence within the RV industry was further recognized, and she was a recipient of RVIA's 40 under 40, which aims to identify the next generation of leaders. Shannon took the opportunity to further her growth by joining the Brown & Brown Dealer Service team earlier this year. Since joining the team, she has continued her eagerness to learn and has already obtained her property and casualty license.
Sharing her love for the outdoors lifestyle with husband and their four children, Shannon continually works to identify new ways to serve the RV industry and remain a valuable resource to her clients.
